Company History

WD Wilson & Son is an electrical contractor who were originally founded in 1910 and remained in the Wilson family until 1997 when it was acquired by Osprey Holdings. Pitts Electrical are also in this group and this move brought together over 130 years of contracting experience between the two companies. With these resources the most complex projects can be serviced, with the appropriate personnel allocated from the outset. This may involve our dedictated design engineering team, who using the most advanced CAD systems, can assist with the smooth engineering of projects from conception to completion and look after the servicing and maintenance over the following years. Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, our operations cover the whole of the United Kingdom.

WD Wilson & Son is a member of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) which ensures that member companies are professionaly compentent and accountable for their work.     WD Wilson & Son is also a member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC) which carries out regular inspections to ensure complience with the regulations of the Institute of Electrical Engineer.
